Ask for Addie.

I sort of just wandered in without really knowing what I wanted, but I did know that my old couch was in dire need of an upgrade. I showed the sales rep photos of my living room and she helped me pick out a perfect new couch that matches great with my existing decor. If you need some new furniture but are as hopeless at interior design as I am, be sure to take some photos and ask for Addie. She'll find you just what you need!

Worth waiting 6 weeks for.

I got the most beautiful green moss Aurora Velvet couch. So comfy. Worth waiting 6 weeks for. Delivery was awesome, they didn’t ask me for anything and removed all wrappings/tape and plastic. Highly recommend. The floor staff are very approachable and easy to work with.

They went above and beyond by coordinating with the manufacturer

Our experience with What’s New Furniture was fantastic from start to finish. … We never once felt pressured to make a decision, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I also really appreciated how easy they were to work with when I realized I had measured my living space incorrectly. They went above and beyond by coordinating with the manufacturer to correct the order and ensure everything fit perfectly. I highly recommend What’s New Furniture for anyone looking for quality pieces and top-notch customer service!

The staff are there for you but give you the space you need!

This was the best furniture shopping experience! Hands down! My fiance and I had assistance from Henry, major shout out!! Henry was super knowledgeable, and friendly and helped us every step of the way when we had questions. As two introverts, it was great to go into a space that you can tell the staff are there for you but give you the space you need! I felt relaxed and confident, which made making choices like which fabric even easier. Amazing selection of course!

We always check What's New first

We always check What's New first when we need a new piece of furniture in our home. I love that they have a selection of both new and second-hand items. We purchased a set of great quality new chairs for our kids' bedroom and some great vintage chairs for our home offices. They are all holding up well after a few years of use!

Kept me updated on my custom-designed couch from being made through delivery.

Hands down, the best furniture store in Portland. Quality furniture at reasonable prices. Their customer service team and delivery crew are incredibly helpful, timely, and kept me updated on my custom-designed couch from being made through delivery. Special shout-out to Ja'Quay and Jose, who brought in and removed my old couch in record speed, which was not an easy feat with a puppy wanting to play and a narrow front door.

The quality so far was worth the wait.

Great service and delivery. The custom couch said 4 to 6 weeks, but took 7. The quality so far was worth the wait.

Friendly and helpful without hovering or pressure.

What’s New is a great furniture store with lots of wonderful furniture pieces! The staff is friendly and helpful without hovering or pressure. We visited a couple times before purchasing and then the purchase process was very easy and delivery was great!!

Really appreciated their attention to detail!

Very heavy, solid sideboard. They brought it up carefully a flight of stone steps and to the location. Confirmed where I wanted it. Opened the cabinets and found one set of hardware was missing. Searched and found the missing 1/2” by 1/8” diameter pins loose in the truck. Success! Really appreciated their attention to detail!

The piece of furniture in our house that we are most proud of

Best spot for new and consigned pieces to make your dream home interior a reality. My wife and I bought our first coffee table here a few years ago. It is the piece of furniture in our house that we are most proud of and eager to show off to guests. We love it dearly.

Very affordable, especially for the quality as compared to big brand companies!

We've purchased a few great new and consigned items over the years at What's New, and recently purchased a custom sectional couch. We're so happy with the color, fabric, style, and comfort! It's perfect in our space. It was also very affordable, especially for the quality as compared to big brand companies! We chose white glove delivery to remove our old couch & the delivery was incredibly smooth and professional. Highly recommend :)

All the costs and options were clear.

In store staff were very helpful and informative, and encouraged us to try everything. All the costs and options were clear. Delivery folks were timely and did a great job with removal and then placing our new couches. Would definitely use them again.

Their showroom is in a very cool old building

First time in the store today and was very impressed. Zuko welcomed us as soon as we came in the door and gave us the run down on their new and consignment inventory. We looked around, so many beautiful pieces! Their showroom is in a very cool old building and there are many rooms and two floors. We weren’t ready to commit to anything today but Zuko let us know we can browse a larger catalog online and have anything shipped right to the store. Lots of items were customizable too. We will be back! Thanks for a stellar customer experience.

We were sitting on it 2 days later!

Everyone at What’s New Furniture was incredibly helpful, informative, flexible, and prompt to work with - from Alicia in the store to Michael and Alex who delivered to our door. We found several pieces of furniture that we wanted and a couch that fit our new home space perfectly; we were sitting on it 2 days later!

We love our new (locally made) Stanton sofa.

We had a great experience from start to finish. The staff was amazing, the delivery guys were friendly and we love our new (locally made) Stanton sofa. Check them out!!

The manager Julius really went above and beyond

The staff is very friendly, helpful, and they have a variety of unique furniture. I had an issue with an order I had, the manager Julius really went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with my experience. I 100% will returning. Can’t beat their selection, or their customer service.

Special pieces on consignment.

This is one of the first places we go when it’s time to shop furniture. Fantastic service every time and special pieces on consignment. Thank you Henry and Reese!

Everything just lined right up.

Took a bit to find exactly what we wanted, but once we did, everything just lined right up. Delivery service was fantastic - Michael and crew did a great job!
