Price steps are for a sofa; bigger pieces use more fabric, and each builder shows the exact price for your size. Don't see the color you have in mind? Ask us.
Living with it
Stanton gives every fabric one of four codes, and you'll find it when you tap a swatch above. It tells you what's safe to use on a spill.

Good questions
Not right now, sorry. Ask us in chat and we'll send you a close-up photo of the real swatch from our sample book. Or come see Stanton's sample books at our Portland store; Cedar Mill has a fabric library too.
The price. Grade is Stanton's price tier for the fabric, and the sofa underneath is the same. A Nirvana sofa is $2,075 in Standard, $2,135 in Premium and $2,195 in Performance. Bigger sectionals use more fabric, so the step there is bigger.
Our team often points people to tight weaves: Peyton and Polo Club in Performance, Lush in Premium and Sensation in Standard. Every Performance fabric takes a water-based cleaner. Stanton's fabric warranty doesn't cover pet damage, so come talk it through with us.
Very close. Fabric is dyed in batches, so a new run can be a shade off the sample, and Stanton doesn't count that as a defect. If you're matching something you already own, bring it in or send us a photo.
No. Stanton builds only in fabrics from its own library.
Custom pieces are built to your fabric and size, so they're final sale (see our return policy). That's why we'd love for you to see the fabric before you order.
Stanton's sample books are at our Portland store, 439 SE Grand Ave, and our Cedar Mill store at 1026 NW Murray Rd has a fabric library too. Both are open Monday to Saturday 10 to 6 and Sunday 11 to 5.
“We had a very difficult time choosing a fabric (took us more than a month π), and came into the store SO MANY TIMES. … We worked primarily with Addie who is a delightful human. She was so patient, knew what she was talking about, and found the answers when she didn’t know.”

“Alicia was incredibly helpful (and patient), even looking at my paint colors to assess options for fabrics.”
