Shopping guide
Shop locally made furniture in Portland: pieces from Pacific Northwest makers like Dogwoodwork and Mann Made Wood Creations, sold alongside one-of-a-kind local work that comes through our consignment floor.
This collection gathers the local work in our store: solid-wood tables, cutting boards, shelves, and accent pieces from small independent workshops. Pieces are made in small batches, so what you see here changes, and when something sells there may not be another exactly like it.
The throughline in local work is material honesty: real hardwood, visible grain, and joinery meant to outlive trends. These are pieces you repair and refinish, not replace, which is the opposite of flat-pack furniture.
Beyond accent pieces, you can browse Stanton sofas, a collection of solid-wood, vintage and consigned pieces chosen to last, and local artwork and prints.
We've been a locally owned Portland business since 2010, and stocking local makers is part of the point. To judge solid-wood work, look at the grain, the edges, and the joints: run a hand along the finish, check that corners are tight, and make sure drawers and shelves sit square.
Local work can come to us on consignment, where our team approves and prices each piece. Start on our consignment page.
Hardwood cutting boards, small-batch wood accents, and original local art make gifts with a story attached, made by a person you could plausibly run into at the farmers market. Unlike airport souvenirs, pieces like these tend to stay in a home for years. Pair a board with a print from local artwork & prints and the gift is done.
Pieces made by independent makers and small workshops in the Pacific Northwest. We don't label imported goods as local.
Sometimes. Several of our makers take commissions, so ask our team and we'll connect you with the right person for the piece you have in mind.
Small-batch local work sells through quickly and isn't restocked on a schedule. If you see a piece you love, that's the day to buy it.
