Styling Tips

A 54-inch table wants a sofa of at least 84 inches in front of it, with 16 to 18 inches of walking room on the approach side. The dark leg blocks tie back to black metal lighting and window frames, and the glazed oak keeps the whole thing from reading cold. Look through our living room furniture for a sectional that gives it room to breathe.

Style it in thirds: a tray with a candle at one end, a low stack of books in the middle, something living at the far end. Slide a pair of poufs or a low ottoman underneath and you have extra seating that never looks like extra seating.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
