Abaso Rectangular Coffee Table

Thick-cut oak veneer wraps a chunky-legged frame with dovetail joinery cut into the corners. The Abaso does not apologize for its size: at nearly six feet long, it sits in front of a real sofa, not beside one. As far as a coffee table goes, this is the anchor piece.

Fifteen inches keeps it low next to deep-seated sofas, and the long rectangular top gives real surface for trays and stacked books. It comes in two lengths, so the look scales from a great room down to a smaller den.

Styling Tips

Because the finish leans rustic, the Abaso works hardest against something cleaner: a low-arm sofa in a plain weave, black metal lighting, nothing else distressed in the room. Pair a smoother-wood side table at the sofa arm and the mix reads collected, not matchy.

Leave the top mostly open: a stack of books, one low bowl, and a tray for remotes is enough, since the grain and dovetail corners already do the visual work. It suits a substantial sofa or sectional that needs real presence in front of it.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
