Amelia Oval Nightstand

Most nightstands are boxes with drawers. The Amelia rounds every edge into a soft oval body, then finishes it in hand-painted linen and raffia for a texture that reads closer to plaster than furniture. Four full-depth drawers keep bedside storage generous even though the silhouette curves rather than squares off. It is a nightstand built to soften a bedroom that already has enough hard lines.

At 26 inches wide and 24 inches tall, it sits at a comfortable reach from a queen or king mattress, holding a lamp, a stack of books and a glass of water within arm's length without crowding the walkway beside the bed.

Styling Tips

The painted linen finish reads closer to warm plaster than lacquer, so it pairs naturally with iron or brass lighting and linen bedding rather than glossy or polished metals. Ivory keeps a room airy, while the Dark Green leans jewel-toned enough that a pair on either side of the bed becomes the read of the whole space.

Because the body is curved and quiet, it sits well next to a more angular bed or a carved dresser without competing for attention. Use two for symmetry, or place a single Amelia in a smaller room where a boxier nightstand would feel heavier than it needs to.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
