Styling
Two of them facing each other down the centre of a table is the easy move, and it costs you almost no surface area — the base is barely three inches across, so the platters still fit. On a mantel, put one at each end with something low and green between them and let the antlers break the horizontal line. The finish is warm gold, so it sits happily with brass, walnut, unbleached linen and beeswax, and it fights with chrome and cool grey; if the room is cool-toned, ground it on a wood board or a stack of old books.
