Raw-edged chestnut leather is left with a visible, unfinished edge instead of being wrapped and hidden, and it covers a frame built around one distinctive move: a back leg that kicks out at an angle instead of running straight to the floor. That flare keeps the Aria from reading like a standard dining chair; it is warm oak and raw-edged leather doing an urban-rustic job at a table that could use a little grit.
At just under 20 inches wide, it tucks fully under a table and lines up close without crowding, and the leather seat wears in rather than wearing out, picking up a patina that a fabric seat never will.

Styling Tips
The leather and warm oak read best against something with a little age or texture of its own, a reclaimed or live-edge dining table rather than a glossy lacquered one. Mix it with a bench on one side for an easy, collected-over-time table instead of a matched set.
Because the leather only deepens with use, this is a good pick for a chair pulled out every night, not just for company. Let the seat show a little wear; that is the point of raw-edged leather.
Care
Buff the leather regularly with a clean, dry cloth. Skip oils and leather cleaners, and wipe spills immediately with a damp cloth rather than letting them sit. Dust the oak frame with a soft, barely damp cloth and keep both out of direct sun. Indoor use only. Free front-door delivery in the Portland area on orders $1,500+, or white-glove delivery available.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.
If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.
Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.
Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.
Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
