Sizes, materials and care

Small tables carry more style per square inch than almost anything else in a room, and the Astra proves it — a compact marble surface on a slender iron base, sized to slip beside an arm or between chairs without crowding anyone. Stone up top, metal below: a classic pairing that reads polished in modern and glam rooms alike. Weigh it against the rest of our side tables. Styling Tips

Use the Astra where a wood table would disappear — beside a boucle or velvet accent chair, at the arm of a deep sofa, or as a bedside perch in a smaller room. At 23 inches it lands at classic drink-table height, so keep the top simple: one small lamp or a stack of books and a glass. Metal-and-stone pieces love repetition, so echo the base in a brass or iron floor lamp nearby and let it converse with the softer textures of your living room furniture. If you need a pair, order together so the stone tones sit close.

Care:
Wipe the marble with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately; avoid acidic or abrasive cleaners. Use coasters to prevent etching and rings. Dust the iron base with a dry cloth.
