Augustine Swivel Chair

The Augustine takes the old library chair and gives it a 360-degree swivel. Deep channeling runs down the back and arms in dramatic vertical lines, and the whole seat spins freely on its base so the chair reads as sculpture from every angle, not just the front. It comes to WNF as a accent chair in seven finishes, from neutral herringbone weave to full top-grain leather.

At 33 inches wide and 35 inches deep, it holds a full lounge-chair footprint without the bulk of a recliner, so it works as a reading chair in a bedroom corner or as an extra seat that turns to join a conversation instead of sitting fixed in place.

Styling Tips

The channeling reads differently depending on finish. In Orly Natural or Dover Crescent, it stays quiet and textural. In Sapphire Navy or the leather options, it turns into the main event, so give the chair room to stand alone rather than crowding it against a sofa.

Because it swivels, it is a natural pick beside a window or a pair of ottomans where you want the option to turn toward the light, a game table, or the rest of the room.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
