What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Austanny.

  1. I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

  2. They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

If an in-stock piece arrives boxed, you have 7 days to bring it back unused in its box for store credit. Pieces we order in for you, custom orders and floor models are final sale.

  3. Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

The Austanny Desk Chair makes the case that the hardest-working seat in the house deserves some shape: a sculpted barrel back wraps you in warm brown upholstery while the smooth swivel base and rolling casters keep you moving between screen, shelf, and coffee cup. It brings genuine lounge-chair character to a home office — supportive enough for the long workday, handsome enough to stay out after it.

Details

  • Silhouette: Sculpted barrel back that cradles your shoulders through long sessions
  • Upholstery: Warm brown covering with modern contouring
  • Swivel: Smooth full-rotation base for easy turns between desk and room
  • Casters: Rolling casters glide across the workspace without scuffing
  • Height: Adjustable seat height dials in the right fit for your desk
  • Best for: Home offices, creative studios, and executive corners
  • Maker: By Ashley Furniture
  • Dimensions: 23" x 23" x 33.5"

Styling Tips

Pair the Austanny with a clean-lined desk in walnut or oak and let the warm brown barrel back be the room's soft moment among straight edges. It holds its own on video calls, so give it a styled backdrop — a bookcase, a plant, one piece of art. If your workspace shares the living room, this is the desk chair that doesn't announce itself as office equipment; browse the rest of our office chairs to compare profiles in person.

Care
  • Cleaning: Vacuum the upholstery with a soft brush attachment; blot spills immediately
  • Casters: Clear hair and debris from the casters occasionally so they roll freely
  • Mechanism: Adjust seat height while unweighted to keep the lift smooth
  • Frame: Check and gently snug fittings every few months

A few more to fall for.
