Benton Bar & Counter Stool

The Benton keeps its iron frame slim on purpose: round stock in a matte black finish reads almost like a line drawing under an oak seat deck, so the stool never crowds a kitchen island the way a bulkier frame would. A floating back rail and a rear wooden stretcher add just enough support without turning the silhouette heavy. It is a bar stool built to disappear a little.

Order it in bar height for a standard counter or the shorter counter height for an island, and the oak deck and iron frame stay identical either way. Five fabric and leather colorways mean the seat can match a kitchen that leans warm or cool.

Styling Tips

Because the frame is so open, the Benton works in pairs or in a full run of five without visually stacking up. Savile Flannel and Altair Mushroom keep the palette neutral; the two leather options add weight and warmth for an island that wants to feel more like furniture.

Mix bar and counter heights in the same finish if seating both an island and a nearby high-top, since the oak and iron read identically. Round out the kitchen from our dining chairs collection.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
