What neighbors say about finding the next one

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for this piece.

Although they did not carry what I was looking for initially, I was pleasantly surprised to find a personal text from Addie from the store about a month or so later, when a couch of similar description to the one I’d been hoping for came in!

Sizes, materials and care

Every so often a set walks through our doors that just works, and this quartet of black retro dining chairs is exactly that. Sold as a set of four, they carry those clean, sculpted lines that made mid-century design endure: gentle curves, an easy silhouette, and a matte black finish that reads sharp without shouting. It's the kind of understated statement that anchors a room and plays well with bolder pieces around it.

Built solid and standing 33 inches tall with a 19-inch-wide seat and 20 inches of depth, these chairs are comfortable and sturdy where it counts. The frames are honest workhorses, no wobble, no fuss, and after a close look we're calling the condition excellent across all four. Minimal wear, ready to sit down to dinner tonight.

Pair them with a warm walnut table for classic contrast, or push them up against a light oak or marble surface to let the black frames pop. They'd feel right at home in a compact apartment nook or a full dining room. If you've been hunting for vintage dining room chairs Portland shoppers actually fight over, here's your set of four. Grab them before someone else does.
