The Brinstead earns its keep twice over: a narrow chairside footprint that slides in where a full end table will not fit, and a 110V outlet with two USB ports built into the frame. Thick rustic oak veneer carries a glazed natural finish, so the grain still reads as wood rather than as a gadget. It sits comfortably with the rest of our side tables.

Styling Tips
Slot the Brinstead between a reading chair and the wall, where the outlet turns a corner into a working spot for a phone, a tablet and a lamp. The open plinth is deep enough to stage a stack of art books or a low basket, and the light oak keeps it from reading heavy in a small room. It pairs naturally with the seating in our accent chairs collection.
In a living room with darker upholstery, this is the piece that lifts the corner. Balance it with a warm-toned lamp and a low bowl, and look through our living room furniture for a coffee table that echoes the same oak tone.
Care
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth; wipe spills right away with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately.
- Skip ammonia, bleach and silicone-based polishes, which dull a glazed wood finish over time.
- Use coasters and felt pads under lamps and decor to protect the surface from rings and scratches.
- Keep out of prolonged direct sun and away from heat vents so the finish does not fade or check.

We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.
If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.
Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.
Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.
Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
