What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Brookes.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

The Brookes Apartment Sofa pairs tailored track arms with an unforgettable detail: solid walnut sleigh legs that extend up and inset directly into the front arm panels. It's a quiet bit of engineering that turns a clean modern sofa into a piece of sculpture. Upholstered in rich Classic Pistachio leather with plush, feather-wrapped cushions — precision tailoring with premium-plush comfort for compact Portland living rooms.

Back cushions: Channeled feather-and-fiber for luxurious give without losing shape
Suspension: Cycle-tested sinuous springs plus webbing
Legs: Solid walnut sleigh leg inset into the front arm panel (white oak and matte-black metal also available)

Styling Tips

Brookes's walnut sleigh legs call for warm wood throughout the room — a mid-century walnut coffee table or side table grounds the palette. Layer a jute or patterned kilim rug, tall greenery (monstera, fiddle-leaf fig), and one large botanical print or herbarium pressing. See other leather pieces in the sofas collection.

Care & Assembly

Dust leather weekly with a soft dry cloth; vacuum cushion crevices monthly. Condition with a quality leather cream twice a year to keep the hide supple. Wipe spills immediately — never rub. Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.

Arrives fully assembled. White-glove delivery available in the Portland metro area.

Custom built to order by Palliser — lead time typically 10–14 weeks.
