What neighbors say about finding the next one

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for this piece.

  1. Although they did not carry what I was looking for initially, I was pleasantly surprised to find a personal text from Addie from the store about a month or so later, when a couch of similar description to the one I’d been hoping for came in!

Sizes, materials and care

This brown mid-century dining table is a delightful surprise: a small, square 38-inch table that becomes a cozy host when you extend it to 86”. Its warm brown wood, clean lines, and easy extension transform weeknight dinners into extra seating without overwhelming the space.

At 38-86” x 38” x 30”, it sits low and friendly, with the honest wear of a piece that has already lived a few good lives: fair condition, with the kind of surface character that photographs as patina rather than damage. The extension is the practical secret: keep it square for breakfast nooks, then open it when friends stay late. Solid wood construction holds the era’s tapered, unfussy silhouette.

Park it in a Portland bungalow kitchen or a loft dining alcove and pair it with colorful chairs, a graphic runner, and a low ceramic bowl. Among vintage dining room tables Portland shoppers hunt for, this one is the versatile square that still feels like a discovery.
