Sizes, materials and care

The kitchen island is often where a quick breakfast turns into a longer conversation. The Caleb Fabric Counter Stool brings an upholstered back and channel-tufted seat to that everyday spot, with slim metal legs that keep the outline light. Its 26-inch seat suits counter-height settings; the 36-inch measurement is the overall height. Compare our bar and counter stools when planning your seating.

Penta upholstery is 100% polyester fabric.
Engineered wood structure with powder-coated steel legs and a footrest.

Leg assembly required; sold as one stool.

Styling

Measure from the floor to the underside of your counter before choosing stools, allowing room for knees as well as the seat. Leave space between neighboring stools and enough room behind them to get up easily. The horizontal channels add texture beside a smooth wood or stone counter.

Use Green as a quiet accent, Linen for a lighter combination or Grey alongside darker cabinetry. Keep pendant lighting clear of the seating area, and use a few home accents on the counter without crowding the eating surface. Our dining collection offers other pieces to connect the kitchen with the rest of the room.

Care

Vacuum gently with an upholstery attachment to lift everyday dust from seams and textured fabric.
Blot spills promptly with a clean cloth. Follow the cleaning instructions supplied with the upholstery before applying any cleaner; test an inconspicuous area first.
Avoid harsh chemicals, saturation and prolonged direct sunlight. Check the legs and floor glides periodically and protect the floor when moving the chair.
