Styling Tips

A patterned top wants restraint above it — one stack of books and one low bowl beat a full tablescape. The square format shines centered between a sofa and two chairs, where every seat gets equal reach. Keep the rug beneath it solid or subtly textured so the checkerboard stays the star, and pull in a plain-topped side table or two for overflow duty. At 18 inches tall it aligns with most standard sofa seats, so drinks land at a natural height.
