Chunky Double Knit Throw

This is the heavy one. The cables are about two inches wide, handmade, and the throw has real weight when you pick it up. Red, charcoal, tan, and yellow share the same 50-by-60 size and the same giant stitch. It is a sofa or foot-of-bed piece, not a summer lap blanket. More textures live with our pillows and throws.

Styling

Fold it across the foot of a bed so the cables read as a stripe, or pile it on a sofa arm in a living room that can take a thick textile. It is the opposite of a thin cotton throw: one piece is enough. Keep pillows quieter so the knit is the only statement. Pair with home decor ceramics if you want a second material, not a second pattern. We keep throws and accent pieces on the floor at Grand when a shipment lands, and the SKU on this page is the same one the warehouse will receive. If you want to feel the knit or see the scale in person, the Portland showroom is the place; staff can pull a carton so you are not guessing from a photo. Incoming stock stays at quantity zero until receiving, then it shows on hand and can go home with you the same day. Ask for the SKU at the counter if you want to check a piece before it hits the floor.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
