Copper Patina Footed Vase, 8.5" Tall

The shortest and the sturdiest of the four — an open flared rim, a pinched waist, and then a broad conical foot that spreads out and holds the whole thing down. Most of the verdigris collects on that foot, so the green reads as something that crept up from the surface it has been sitting on rather than a finish somebody sprayed on. Styling

Low and wide is the useful shape here: a short, dense bunch of ranunculus, dahlias or dried billy buttons sits at the rim instead of flopping, and the vase still works empty as a catchall for keys and loose change by the door. Put it on an entryway console where people set things down, or use it as the middle height in a run of three across a dining table. The broad foot means it will not tip when somebody reaches past it. • Wipe clean with a lint-free, dry cloth
• Indoor use only — sustained rain or sprinkler spray will keep the patina actively growing
• Not sealed for standing water: use a glass or plastic liner, or a florist’s water tube, for fresh stems
• Dry the inside fully after any contact with water
• Skip abrasive pads, metal polish and copper cleaner — all three strip the verdigris that gives the piece its colour
• Every piece is finished by hand, so patina coverage, tone and the exact line where copper turns to green vary from one to the next

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
