What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Cypress.

  1. I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

    For this piece

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

  2. They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Sizes, materials and care

No two Cypress tables are alike. Each is hand-finished from a single teak root, trimmed and shaped to reveal the wood's wild, organic form — so the piece you bring home is genuinely one of a kind. It's living sculpture that happens to hold your coffee, anchoring a room the way a piece of art would. The square top gives you usable surface while the root base below becomes the conversation. Explore the full coffee table collection.

Features

  • 40.5" W x 41" D x 18" H square silhouette
  • Hand-finished from a single solid teak root — every piece unique
  • Black-and-natural finish contrasts the smooth top with the raw root form
  • Substantial, sturdy build with a sculptural cantilever of roots
  • An instant focal point and natural conversation starter
  • Pairs organic texture with clean-lined modern seating
  • Imported by Classic Home

Styling Tips

Let the Cypress be the star — keep styling minimal so the root form reads, and ground it on a low-pile rug to set off the sculpture. Its organic edges soften rooms full of straight lines, so pair it with a clean-lined sofa and a simple side table that won't compete. For a layered, gallery-like living room, surround it with natural textures — linen, wool, and matte ceramics.
