What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the D-Bodhi.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

Javanese craft tradition runs through every line of the Caterpillar Twin chair — a frame carved from reclaimed teak salvaged from disused housing, topped with a seat of hand-woven abaca. Part of LH's eco-conscious D-Bodhi line, it carries the character of rustic island living and the history of the wood it's made from; no two are quite alike. Compare seats across our dining chair collection.

Styling Tips

Woven seats bring breathing room to heavy tables — run a set of Caterpillars around a chunky reclaimed-wood dining table and the room stays airy instead of dense. It also works solo as a corner chair with a plant at its shoulder. Natural-fiber pieces from our dining room collection extend the organic thread through the space, and the warm teak tones bridge easily between rustic and contemporary rooms.

Care:
Dust the teak frame with a soft, dry cloth. Vacuum the woven abaca seat gently with a brush attachment; keep it dry and away from prolonged moisture. Avoid direct sunlight to preserve the natural tones.
