The Knut looks like a serene, round coffee table — then you lift the reclaimed teak top and it reveals itself as an enormous handwoven basket. The base is woven from abaca, one of the strongest natural fibers grown, while the lid is teak salvaged with decades of history written into its grain. Blankets, board games, and remote-control chaos all disappear inside. Storage tables usually announce themselves; this one keeps the secret until the lid moves. It's the multitasker of our coffee table collection.

Styling Tips
Its low 13.8-inch height suits floor-adjacent living — deep sofas, floor cushions, and rooms styled around lounging rather than formality. Keep the top sparsely styled so the lid stays liftable: a small tray and one object is plenty. Echo the weave with a rattan accent chair or basket nearby, and add a side table at sofa-arm height for the drinks the Knut sits too low to catch. Line the basket with a cotton throw if you plan to store smaller loose items inside.
Care:
Dust the teak lid and abaca weave with a soft, dry cloth or soft brush. Use coasters on the wood top and avoid liquid cleaners on the woven base. Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight.
