The Dressonni end table wraps a squared, clean-lined case around two open shelves and finishes it clear, so the streaked chocolate-and-honey grain of the wood carries the piece instead of hardware or ornament. Styling Tips
A 24-inch square top is generous for an end table, which makes the Dressonni a good match for a full-depth sofa or a wide lounge chair rather than a tight apartment corner. The open shelves want a little restraint: one basket, one stack of books, and nothing on the second shelf. It pairs easily with the seating in our living room furniture collection.
Sheesham runs warm and slightly red, so it sits well against olive, rust and cream, and it holds its own next to black metal. If the room needs a larger surface in the same key, start with our coffee tables and match the wood tone before the shape.
Care
- Dust with a soft, dry cloth; wipe spills right away with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately.
- Skip ammonia, bleach and silicone-based polishes, which dull a wood finish over time.
- Use coasters and felt pads under lamps and decor to protect the surface from rings and scratches.
- Keep out of prolonged direct sun and away from heat vents so the finish does not fade or check.
