What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Eager.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

The Eager Top-Grain Leather Sofa is the apartment-scale one. 71 inches wide, three seats, squared track arms and slim splayed legs in a dark stain that lift it clear of the floor. It fits rooms that a 90-inch sofa bullies, and in camel leather it still carries a room instead of disappearing into it.

Features & Construction

Dimensions: 71" W × 35.5" D × 31.5" H
Upholstery: Camel top-grain leather — the same hide as our Solado sofa and Anson sectional
Seat: Three cushions, full foam over zig-zag springs, fixed to the deck
Back: Three loose fibre-filled back cushions
Frame: MDF and LVL plywood on a rubberwood frame
Legs: Four splayed, tapered wood legs in a dark stain
Profile: 31.5" overall height — low enough to sit under a window line

Styling Tips

At 71 inches this is a sofa you can float rather than push against a wall, which is the move in a small living room. The dark legs give you permission to bring in more black — a metal floor lamp or a dark coffee table ties it together. Pair it with a single armchair rather than a loveseat and the room stays open. More in sofas and small-space furniture.

Care & Assembly

Dust weekly with a soft dry cloth and vacuum the cushion crevices monthly. Condition with a quality leather cream twice a year. Top-grain leather is meant to move — it will soften, darken slightly and take on a patina where it gets used. That is the material working correctly, not wearing out. Blot spills at once and never rub. Keep it out of direct sunlight.

Arrives fully assembled. White-glove delivery available across the Portland metro area.

About these photos

The studio photograph and both close-ups on this page are real photographs of an Eager leather sofa in this same camel hide, shot on our own floor. One thing in them is edited. That piece came to us with a stained wood trim strip under the body, and the version we are importing does not have one, so we took it out. Everything else you see is the sofa. The room scene is the one image here that is a render, because nobody has photographed this sofa in a living room yet.

This particular piece is still on the water. When the container lands we will reshoot everything, including the room scene, with the actual sofa. Message us in chat any time and we will tell you exactly where it is.
