Poplar burl is not a subtle material: the grain swirls and knots in a way no veneer press can fake, and the Elena lets it run the length of an organic, softly rounded top instead of hiding it under a busy shape. A plinth base keeps the visual weight low, so the burl pattern reads as the whole story rather than competing with a busy leg structure. It is a coffee table built around one material doing a lot of work.
At 45.5 by 39.5 inches, it is sized for a real seating group rather than a single chair, with enough surface for drinks, books and a tray without crowding. The 16-inch height sits comfortably at sofa-cushion level.

Styling Tips
Let the top stay mostly bare, since the burl pattern is the ornament. A single low bowl or a short stack of books is enough; anything busier competes with the grain instead of framing it. Set it in front of a plain sofa in linen or leather, where the wood reads as the room's one loud material.
Pair it with a pale rug so the darker figuring in the burl has somewhere to land, and keep nearby side tables simpler in form so the coffee table stays the focal point. Round out the room from our side tables collection.
Care
Dust regularly with a soft, dry cloth followed by a barely damp one, and wipe spills immediately rather than letting them sit on the veneer. Use coasters and trivets for hot or wet items, and skip furniture polish, ammonia and abrasive cleaners. Indoor use only. Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.
If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.
Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.
Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.
Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
