One faux mushroom, mounted on a black ground and sealed under a convex plastic dome inside a chunky wood frame, exactly the way a natural history room would have presented an actual specimen. The dome is the detail that sells it: it curves out from the frame face so the mushroom is genuinely suspended in space rather than pressed flat, and it catches a highlight along the top edge. Four assorted species — chanterelle clusters, oysters, a coral fungus, a domed cap — so a group of four is a set, not a repeat. Browse more home decor.

Styling
These want to be collected. One is a curiosity; four in a tight two-by-two block, or a row of four running up a staircase wall, becomes a cabinet-of-curiosities moment for eighty dollars. Keep the gaps small — an inch and a half — so the group reads as one object.
They also stand, which opens up bookshelves, a desk, the top of a piano, or a bathroom shelf. Because the ground is black and the frames are dark wood, they hold their own against a bold wall colour and look best where the light comes from one side and rakes across the dome. Mix them in with real botanical prints and dried stems rather than with photographs; they belong to the natural-history family. More in decor and more, home accents and living room furniture.
Care
- Dust the frame with a dry, soft cloth
- Clean the plastic dome with a dry microfibre cloth only — glass cleaner will craze it
- Do not attempt to open the dome; the specimen is mounted and sealed inside
- Keep out of direct sun, which yellows the dome and fades the specimen
- Hang from a small picture hook or stand it on a flat shelf
- Four assorted styles — the species you receive varies

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.
If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.
Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.
Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.
Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
