Styling

Botanicals are the most forgiving art you can hang because the subject is already in most rooms — put one over a console with a real plant beside it and the two argue for each other. At this size a single piece is a filler; two stacked vertically in a narrow space, or all four in a two-by-two grid with two inches between frames, is where it starts to look deliberate.

The green is soft and slightly grey, so it sits with sage, oat, walnut and unlacquered brass and stays quiet against a saturated wall. In a hallway or a stairwell, run them in a line at a single eye-level centre and let the repetition do the work. Care

• Dust the frame with a dry, soft cloth
• Clean the glass with a cloth sprayed lightly, never spray directly onto the glass
• Avoid ammonia-based cleaners, which can creep behind the glass and mark the print
• Hang out of direct sun — reproduction inks fade faster than the originals ever did
• Use a hanger rated well above the piece's weight and hit a stud or use a proper anchor
• Wood frames are printed rather than stained, so avoid soaking or scrubbing the finish

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
