What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Freddie.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

Some storage pieces disappear into the wall; the Freddie holds its ground. Inspired by French antique design, this three-drawer mango wood chest stands on round tapered legs beneath a prominent overhang top, with cast iron key-ring pulls that give every drawer a satisfying, old-world tug. Size it as a compact dresser or an oversized nightstand — it earns its keep either way. It is the kind of piece that moves from room to room over the years and fits in everywhere it lands. See more dressers and chests for comparison.

Features & Construction

Overall: 40"W x 20"D x 34"H
Crafted from solid mango wood
Three full-width drawers with cast iron key-ring pulls
Round tapered legs with a prominent overhang top, in the French antique manner
Available in Caramel Mango and Brown finishes
Versatile scale works as a dresser, entry chest, or grand nightstand
Designed by Four Hands

Styling Tips

Style the overhang top like a vignette: a lamp, a stack of books, and one tall object for height. It pairs naturally with upholstered beds and linen bedding — browse bedroom furniture for companions, or use a pair from our nightstands collection to flank the bed while Freddie anchors the opposite wall. In an entryway, it swallows gloves, leashes, and mail while giving the door a proper landing spot.

Delivery & Care

Wipe with a soft, dry cloth and avoid direct sunlight to keep the finish even. Free front-door delivery on orders $1,500+ within 20 miles of Portland, or white-glove delivery available. See it in our Portland showroom.
