Blocks of forest green, teal and near-black sit over a warm red that shows through in a thin line across the middle — a colour-field composition with a horizon in it, painted by hand so the brush marks and the scraped edges are visible up close. At eighteen by twenty-four it is a small piece with a very large mood, and the red is the reason: without it the greens would go flat and decorative, and with it the whole panel has heat underneath. Individually painted, so no two are identical. Browse more wall art.

Styling
Dark abstracts are much easier to live with than bright ones, and this one goes almost anywhere: over a nightstand, above a small chest, in a hallway, on the short return wall beside a fireplace. The green sits with walnut, brass and oxblood leather and stays calm against a white wall.
If you want it to feel intentional rather than incidental, hang it low over a piece of furniture — twelve to eighteen inches above a chest top — rather than floating it high on an empty wall. It also works as the dark anchor in a mixed gallery wall, where its solid mass gives a run of lighter prints something to balance against. In a bedroom, a pair on either side of the bed is the easy version. More in home decor, bedroom furniture and decor and more.
Care
- Dust with a dry, soft brush; do not wipe a painted surface with a damp cloth
- Do not use cleaners or solvents of any kind
- Hang out of direct sun to protect the pigments
- Use a hanger rated above the panel's weight
- Handle by the edges, never the face
- Brushwork, colour balance and edge coverage vary — that is the hand-painted part

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.
If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.
Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.
Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.
Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
