Sizes, materials and care

There is an animal at the bottom of your soup. Each of these stoneware bowls hides a hand-painted woodland portrait inside — a fox mid-stride, a strutting turkey, a pheasant, or a quail — under a warm, crackled reactive glaze that looks pulled from a farmhouse cupboard. Bowls ship assorted across the four styles and every one is painted by hand, so no two are quite alike; which animal arrives is part of the fun. They belong to the same harvest table as the rest of our seasonal decor.

Styling

Buy four and let everyone claim their animal — these are the bowls guests remember. They stack neatly on open shelving where the rim speckle shows, and they are as good under morning oatmeal as under chili.
