Thirty-four inches of hand-woven rattan, shaped as a tall arched panel with a deep pocket across the lower third, hung flat against the wall from a keyhole at the top. It is the sort of thing that used to live in a farmhouse hallway holding gloves and letters, and at this scale it works as a piece of wall sculpture that happens to be useful. The weave is tight and even across the back and looser through the rim, so light catches the edge differently from the field. Browse more home decor.

Styling
Fill it with something tall and dry — pampas, eucalyptus, bare branches — and it stops being storage and becomes the only thing you need on that wall. Fill it with mail and it disappears into the routine of the house, which is also fine. Either way, hang it high enough that the pocket sits around waist height, roughly 40 inches to the base.
Natural rattan is a texture, not a colour, so it sits against a painted wall, wallpaper or exposed brick without needing to match anything. In an entry it does the job of a console in a hallway too narrow for one. In a bedroom it holds a throw. Beside a back door it takes the leashes and the sun hats. Keep the wall around it clear so the silhouette reads — this is a shape, and shapes need space. More in decor and more, living room furniture and bedroom furniture.
Care
- Dust with a dry, soft brush, working with the weave rather than across it
- Wipe with a barely damp cloth and dry immediately — never soak rattan
- Keep out of direct sun and away from a heat source, which dries and cracks the cane
- Not for outdoor or covered-porch use; damp will loosen the weave
- Mount through the keyhole into a stud or a proper anchor before loading it
- Natural rattan darkens over time, unevenly and pleasantly

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.
If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.
Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.
Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.
Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
