Henry Desk

The Henry keeps a desk's usual boxiness in check: solid reclaimed oak and a thick oak veneer top, with corners subtly rounded instead of squared off, in a rustic grey or charcoal wash that leans handcrafted rather than polished. It was designed in partnership with longtime Four Hands collaborator Thomas Bina and Brazilian designer Ronald Sasson, and the restraint shows. As an office desk, it reads more like a console that happens to work than a piece of office furniture.

At 70 inches wide and 25 inches deep, it gives a laptop and a monitor real breathing room without taking over a home office, and the slim 31-inch-tall profile keeps the piece from feeling bulky against a wall.

Styling Tips

Because the profile is so slim, the Henry works well against a wall in a home office or even a bedroom corner, somewhere a bulkier desk would feel like too much furniture. Rustic Grey keeps the room light and works against white or pale walls; Charcoal Oak grounds a brighter space instead.

Pair it with a simple task chair rather than a heavily upholstered one, since the desk's appeal is in the restraint of the wood. Round out the space from our office chairs collection.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
