Indira Rectangle End Table in Vintage Oak

The Indira Rectangle End Table is a single clean block of pale oak — no legs, no hardware, no visible joinery, just a waterfall of grain wrapping from the top down both ends to a recessed plinth that reads as if the table is floating a half inch off the floor. In Vintage Oak the cracked-oak veneer keeps every knot and check on show, so the piece stays warm and a little rustic even though the silhouette is severely modern. Ours lives behind a sectional in the showroom, which is the shape's other trick: at 39 inches long and only 12 deep it works as a sofa-back console just as happily as it does beside a chair. Styling Tips

Run it long-side against the back of a sofa and it becomes a console for lamps, a tray, and a stack of books — the 12-inch depth is shallow enough not to eat the walkway behind the seating. Pull it around to the end of the sofa instead and the 16-inch height lands right at cushion level, which is where an end table actually wants to be.

The pale oak is a good foil for darker upholstery, so it earns its keep next to anything in our sofa collection. Keep the styling sparse — two or three objects, one with height — so the block silhouette stays legible. A low lamp from our lighting collection and a textured rug underneath from our rug collection finish it.

Care

• Dust with a soft, dry cloth; blot spills immediately and dry the surface.
• Use coasters and felt pads — veneer marks from heat, water rings, and dragged objects.
• Keep out of prolonged direct sunlight to limit finish shift.
• Level the floor glides on uneven flooring so the plinth sits flat.

We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
