Light kitchens want light seating, and the Kai delivers it without going delicate — a woven, cushioned seat and full upholstered back over sturdy powder-coated iron legs that are built for daily duty. It's proof a pale stool can still be the hardest-working seat in the house. Weigh it against the chunky grey version and the rest of our bar & counter stools.

Styling Tips

Bone white against dark cabinetry is the fastest contrast trick in kitchen design; against white counters it dissolves into a calm, seamless line. Let the black legs do the graphic work and repeat that note in cabinet hardware or a matte-black pendant from our lighting collection. If the kitchen opens to the dining space, browse dining room furniture to keep the two zones speaking the same language.

Care:
Vacuum the light-toned weave often to keep it fresh, and blot spills immediately without rubbing. Spot clean carefully; test any cleaner in a hidden area first. Wipe the iron legs with a dry cloth.
