Kirby Accent Stool

A cradle base of wire-brushed parawood does the structural work here, curving up on each side to hold a heavily textured, upholstered seat rather than pinning it to four straight legs. The vintage-inspired shape sits well next to almost any style of chair, which is the appeal of a good accent stool: it fills a gap without demanding the room build around it.

At 22.5 inches wide and just over 20 inches tall, it works as extra seating, a footrest, or a small side surface, and it is light enough at roughly 35 pounds to move around a room as the season or the gathering calls for it.

Styling Tips

Group two or three in different finishes around a low table instead of matching chairs, the wood cradle base ties them together even when the upholstery does not match. It also works as a single extra seat pulled from a corner when a sofa from our sofas collection runs short on room.

The wire-brushed parawood leans warm and a little worn, so it sits easily with other vintage-inspired pieces rather than a fully modern room.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
