What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Kyoto.

  1. I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

  2. They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.
    Ally H · Google review · Oct 2026

If an in-stock piece arrives boxed, you have 7 days to bring it back unused in its box for store credit. Pieces we order in for you, custom orders and floor models are final sale.

  3. Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

The Kyoto coffee table rests a clear, curved glass top on a carved walnut base that looks sculpted rather than built. The base stays visible through the glass, so the table adds shape to a seating group without adding visual weight. Browse more coffee tables.

Features & Construction

  • Dimensions: 52" W x 36" D x 16" H
  • Solid walnut base
  • 19 mm thick glass top

  • Sculpted two-piece walnut base visible through the glass
  • Rounded glass edge with no sharp corners to catch a leg or sleeve
  • Low 16-inch height suits deep sofas

Styling Tips

Keep the surface simple, since the glass and base are the display. A single bowl or a short stack of books is plenty, and a textured rug underneath lets the wood tone show through. The curved edges are easy to walk around in a smaller room, and the walnut base pairs well with leather accent chairs in black or saddle. Find more matching wood tones in our walnut furniture collection. Because the glass is clear, the rug or floor underneath becomes part of the look, so choose it with that in mind.

Care

  • Clean the glass with a soft cloth and a glass cleaner, spraying the cloth rather than the glass
  • Dust the walnut base with a soft, dry cloth
  • Wipe spills from the wood right away and dry it
  • Lift rather than drag the table to move it
  • Keep the base out of direct sun and away from heat sources
  • Wood grain and tone vary naturally from piece to piece

A few more to fall for.
