Sizes, materials and care

The face of this frame is built up from layered strips of natural wood in light, honey and reddish-brown tones, stepped into a patchwork pattern instead of a single flat border. It holds a 4x6 photo and stands on its own with a fold-out easel back, so it's ready for a desk or a shelf without any extra hardware. Styling

Set it on a console table among a few other frames of different sizes, and the mixed wood tones give the whole grouping something to look at even before you swap in your own photo. It also holds its own alone on a narrow shelf where a plain black frame would disappear.

The warm wood tones pair easily with brass, rattan and other pieces from bookcases and open shelving, and because the pattern already has visual texture, it doesn't need matching frames around it to look put together.
