Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Macadam.

I bought their in house brand and LOVE IT. I got the Hawthorne sectional and 2 Cia Chairs. Delivery was easy!

For this piece

This piece is part of that in-house line, sold under our own name.
I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Sizes, materials and care

The Macadam Leather Sofa is the long version of the same idea: a squared frame kept deliberately low, two generous seat cushions, and a cylindrical bolster at each end doing the work of an arm. In camel leather it reads warm rather than heavy, which is not something most leather sofas manage.

Features & Construction

Upholstery: Camel leather, top-grain
Arms: Loose cylindrical bolster cushions at both ends, removable
Seating: Two-cushion three-seat configuration
Legs: Solid ash in a walnut stain
Collection: Private-label design selected by What's New Furniture

Styling Tips

Leather this pale wants light around it, so keep it off a dark wall if you can. The low back makes it a good choice for an open room where you do not want to block a sightline. Add the matching Macadam Leather Chair to close a seating group, ground both on a rug, and keep the coffee table low. Browse more sofas in Portland.

Care

Dust with a dry, soft cloth; wipe spills immediately with a barely damp one.
Never use solvents, saddle soap, or all-purpose cleaners on the hide.
Keep it out of prolonged direct sun and away from heat vents, which dry leather out.
Expect the camel tone to deepen and soften with use. That patina is the leather, not a defect.
Measure doorways, stairs, hallway turns, elevator access, and the full delivery path before purchase.
