What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Mappa.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

Every Mappa side table top is a one-off — burl veneer from the mappa tree, swirled like marbled paper and finished in honey blonde. The clean cube proportions keep the piece architectural so the wild grain never tips into busy, and its compact scale means the artistry travels: sofa side today, bedside next month. Set it against our broader side table collection and it still stands apart.

Styling Tips

Treat the top like framed art: one lamp from our lighting collection or one small object, and let the burl carry the rest. It shines beside deep-toned sofas — navy, forest, espresso leather — where the honey blonde pops. As part of a pair flanking the sofa in your living room, the mismatched grain patterns become the conversation piece.

Care:
Wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Use coasters to prevent rings on the burl veneer top. Keep away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excess moisture.
