What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Marley.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

A dining chair does its best work when it flatters both the table and the person in it. The Marley dining chair pairs a slim armless profile with a gracefully curved back — dark-finished solid oak framing a signature center cutout — and velvety cushioning that makes hour two of dinner feel as good as hour one. It is a quietly refined pick from our dining chairs collection — the kind of chair guests only comment on after they have been sitting a while.

Styling Tips

Run six Marleys down a long wood table for a tailored look, or use a pair as ringers at the ends of a mixed set. The dark oak frame pairs especially well with the lighter finishes in our dining tables — complete the room from our dining room furniture. Its quiet curves also mix gracefully with cane, rush, or wood-seat chairs when you want a collected-over-time look.

Delivery & Care

Vacuum the upholstery with a brush attachment, blot spills rather than rubbing, and give the oak frame an occasional dry dusting. Free front-door delivery on orders $1,500+ within 20 miles of Portland, or white-glove delivery available. See it in our Portland showroom.
