Sizes, materials and care

Velvet earns its keep at the dinner table, and the Mila wears it with restraint — deep black upholstery finished with tactile waffle-stitch detailing, carried on solid ash legs in a smokey wood finish. The padded, gently angled back keeps guests settled long after the plates are cleared, and the dark-on-dark palette dresses up nearly any table it joins. Styling Tips

Black velvet sharpens light-toned tables and deepens dark ones — set the Mila against pale oak or driftwood dining tables for crisp contrast, or lean moody with walnut and aged brass. Because the color does the tailoring, keep place settings simple: linen runners, smoked glass, a single low centerpiece. A dimmable pendant and a generous rug from our dining room furniture collection finish the scene. If you're mixing seating, the Mila plays the dressed-up counterpoint to simpler wood side chairs. Care:
Vacuum the velvet gently with an upholstery attachment and blot spills immediately without rubbing. Wipe the ash legs with a soft, dry cloth. Keep out of direct sunlight to prevent fading.
