Although they did not carry what I was looking for initially, I was pleasantly surprised to find a personal text from Addie from the store about a month or so later, when a couch of similar description to the one I’d been hoping for came in!

Ask Joey what’s come inHere's a lamp with quiet confidence. This West Elm table lamp pairs a warm natural wood base with a crisp black accent, striking that easygoing balance between organic texture and modern edge that West Elm does so well. It's the kind of piece that reads mid-century in spirit but slips effortlessly into a contemporary room, a small sculptural moment on any surface it lands.
The natural wood and black body stands about 18 inches tall with a footprint around 16 inches, so it has real presence without crowding a tabletop. The wood grain shows off its own character, warmed further whenever the light is on, and the black detailing keeps things grounded and graphic. Condition is excellent. It's been well cared for and shows beautifully, ready to switch on and glow.
Set it on a nightstand for a soft bedside read, or let it anchor a console in the entry alongside a stack of art books and a ceramic vase. It plays nicely with walnut tones, leather, and linen shades alike. If you've been scouting vintage table lamps Portland shoppers actually want to take home, this warm, understated West Elm find is worth grabbing.
