Natural Wood Duck in Boots

A small carved duck in boots, eight inches tall, left in plain wood so the grain runs through the body and the boots alike. It is the tabletop version of the same joke as the tall one, and at this size it lives on a desk or a shelf rather than commanding a hallway. More in decor and more.

Styling

Desk objects have to survive being looked at every day, which rules out anything too clever. This one holds up because the wood is the finish and there is no paint to date it.

It works on a bookshelf between spines, on a windowsill among plant pots, or on a desk where it is the only non-functional thing present. More in home accents.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
