What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Norma.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

Counter seating shapes a kitchen's whole personality, and the Norma keeps things light and layered. A pale oak frame carries a curved, woven cord seat, while a matching woven-look apron gives the base quiet definition. It's the sort of seat that gets pulled out for homework, happy hour and slow Saturday breakfasts alike — a woven counter stool for kitchens that lean natural and unfussy, and one of the easiest pieces in our bar and counter stools to live with.

Features & Construction

Dimensions: 19.5"W × 15.5"D × 27.25"H — counter height
Solid oak frame in a light, natural tone
Seat woven in natural paper cord rush, gently curved for a comfortable sit
Apron detail echoes the weave for a cohesive look
Balanced material mix of warm wood and airy texture
Designed by Four Hands

Styling Tips

Line up two or three under a stone or butcher-block counter and let the weave carry the texture story, leaving a little breathing room between stools so the seats stay the focal point. The Norma's pale frame bridges easily to walnut or black accents elsewhere — see our dining room furniture for pieces that carry the natural thread, or match the tone at the table with our dining tables.

Delivery & Care

Dust with a soft brush or dry cloth and keep the seat away from prolonged moisture. Free front-door delivery on orders $1,500+ within 20 miles of Portland, or white-glove delivery available. See it in our Portland showroom.
