Styling

Small art is hard to place on its own — hung alone on a big wall it just looks lost. These want a tight cluster, a narrow strip of wall between two doors, the side of a bookcase, or the inside of a cabinet door. Three of them in a vertical column, two inches apart, turns dead wall into something worth looking at.

The antique brass is warm, so it belongs with wood, brass hardware, leather and cream rather than with chrome and cool grey. In a powder room or a hallway they carry the whole wall on their own; in a living room they work best filling in around a larger framed piece. • Dust with a dry, soft cloth or a soft brush around the cast detail
• Do not use metal polish — the antiquing is a finish, not tarnish, and polish removes it
• Keep the canvas dry; blot rather than wipe if it is ever marked
• Hang out of direct sun, which will lighten the printed landscape over time
• Use a picture hook rated above the piece's weight
• Cast pieces vary slightly, so no two finishes are identical

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.

If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
