Sizes, materials and care

Half-moon shaping and a low 14-inch profile give the Pickford a sculptural quality that a standard rectangular top does not have. Thick-cut oak veneer in a warm grey-brown finish covers the whole piece, so the coffee table reads as one solid mass rather than a top sitting on legs.

At 60 inches wide and 32 inches deep, the overscale proportions work best in a room with a sectional or a pair of sofas facing each other, somewhere the table needs enough presence to hold its own against a lot of seating.

Styling Tips

Because the shape is already a statement, keep the top simple, a tray and one or two objects is enough; the half-moon curve is the detail that should stand out. It pairs well with rounded seating from our sofas collection, echoing the curve rather than fighting it with hard angles.

The low 14-inch height sits comfortably in front of a sectional with deep seating, where a taller table would feel out of proportion.

Care

Wipe spills immediately with a dry, soft cloth, and use coasters, trivets or placemats to protect against hot or wet items. Dust regularly with a soft, damp cloth followed by a dry one, and skip furniture polish, chemical solvents, or cleaners with ammonia or bleach. Keep it out of direct sun to prevent fading.
