What neighbors say about getting it home

Google reviews of our Portland store, and what each one means for the Remix.

I have stairs and tight corners; I was very worried the couch wouldn’t fit. But they consistently reassured me, and they got it into my apartment beautifully.

The first flight of stairs is on us; a second flight is $50, and $25 for each one after. Tell us about tight turns when we schedule.

They communicated, called in advance, showed up on time and were super quick hauling away my old sofa and bringing in my new one all the way up 3 flights of stairs.

Alicia was amazing while I was buying a sectional couch - she was professional and navigated gracefully through my challenges, making a decision and changing configurations.

Sizes, materials and care

The Remix pairs a mid-century silhouette with the colors kitchens actually live in — a gray upholstered seat floating on hand-crafted solid rubberwood in a warm Estelle Brown finish, rounded at every edge the way good Scandinavian pieces are. Cool seat, warm frame: that tension is the whole trick. Weigh it against the rest of our bar & counter stool collection.

Styling Tips

Gray-and-brown two-tone seating bridges cool countertops and warm floors, which is why the Remix settles into so many kitchens. Repeat the gray in a runner or tea towels, and let the Estelle Brown frame echo your flooring. Overhead, a globe pendant from our lighting collection keeps the retro thread going; browse dining room furniture to carry it further. Because the seat pad is low-profile, sight lines across an open kitchen stay clean — no bulky backs interrupting the conversation between cook and crowd. It's a stool that earns its spot through sheer daily usefulness rather than spectacle, and that is exactly what busy kitchens reward.

Care:
Vacuum the gray seat regularly and blot spills immediately without rubbing. Wipe the rubberwood frame with a soft, dry cloth. Check leg-frame hardware occasionally and tighten as needed.
