Resin Snake Wall Décor, Gold Finish

A snake caught mid-coil, cast in resin and finished in a soft gold that is closer to old gilding than to shiny brass. The scales are textured individually across the whole length, which is what stops it reading as a novelty and lets it hold up on a shelf next to real objects. Styling

On a wall it is best somewhere slightly unexpected — beside a door frame, low on a stair wall, over a light switch — where you find it rather than face it. Vertical, head up, reads better than horizontal; the coil resolves properly that way.

Lying down it is a very good bookshelf object, weaving between a stack of books and a small vase, and it works on a bar cart or the corner of a desk. Gold sits with brass hardware, walnut, black metal and deep green paint, and it deliberately clashes with silver, so keep it away from chrome. If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.

Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.

Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.

Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
