The Sager mixes two materials that rarely share a coffee table: a golden solid travertine base with a softened radius edge, topped by a rounded amber ash veneer surface. An open cubby along the base adds real storage, somewhere for books or remotes to live instead of cluttering the top. As a coffee table, it does more work than most, being a storage piece and a material statement at once.
At 42 inches square, it is sized for a substantial sectional or a pair of sofas rather than a single loveseat, with enough surface for drinks and a tray on either side of the storage cubby.
Features & Construction
- Dimensions: 42" W x 42" D x 15" H

- Roughly 180 lb; ships in one carton, minor assembly required
- Indoor use; the stone is porous and sealed
- By Four Hands
Styling Tips
Use the open cubby for something you actually want visible, since it sits at eye level from a seated sofa: a stack of art books or a woven basket both work better than clutter. The travertine base pairs naturally with warm metals like brass or aged bronze, which pick up the stone's golden tone.
Keep the top itself simple, a tray and a candle or a small plant, since the base and the storage cubby are already doing the visual work. Round out the room from our side tables collection.
Care
Dust the travertine base regularly with a soft, dry cloth and blot spills immediately, since the stone is porous and sealed but not stain-proof. Use coasters and trivets for hot or wet items, and skip acidic or abrasive cleaners on both the stone and the ash veneer top. Indoor use only. Free front-door delivery in the Portland area on orders $1,500+, or white-glove delivery available.

Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love what you bought. Not sure it's right? Ask about “If It Fits, It Sits” — take select in-stock pieces home for up to 2 days and live with them before you commit.
If your item came boxed and you still have the packaging, you've got 7 days from the day you get it to tell us you'd like to try something else. Bring it back to the showroom unused and in its box, and we'll put the full amount on store credit so you can find the right piece. Credit doesn't expire.
Custom orders, consignment, and floor models work differently — those are built to your specs, owned by someone else, or the last one on the floor, so they're final. That said, if you're in a real bind on a custom piece, tell us. Some of our vendors will take one back for a restocking fee, and we're happy to ask on your behalf.
Warranty
Warranty coverage comes from the manufacturer, so terms vary by brand. Several of the makers we carry offer a lifetime warranty on the frame, the springs, and the resiliency of the cushions; others cover a set number of years. Fabric and leather coverage is typically separate from structural coverage.
Whatever your piece carries, you don't have to chase it down. If something arrives damaged or a defect appears later, contact us and our claims department files with the manufacturer on your behalf and sees it through.
